What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products.
Work as an executive assistant to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO)
Meet with the Legal Affair’s team to understand the strategy of the function in line with CLO’s strategy and company road map.
Provide assistance to leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manage a variety of special projects for the CLO to create an impact.
Coordinate administrative tasks for the CLO including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; managing travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for meetings.
Within 60 days, you will:
Plan, coordinate and ensure that the CLO's schedule is followed.
Act as a liaison between internal/external stakeholders, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CLO's time and office.
Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CLO's ability to effectively lead the company
Enable the CLO office to respond swiftly to requests for materials
Maintain official records of documents/files of Legal Affairs
Effectively manage routine administrative chores of all Legal Affairs department
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Communicate directly, and on behalf of the CLO, with Board members, internal/external stakeholders, and others, on matters related to CLO's programmatic initiatives
Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CLO’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
Work closely and effectively with the CLO to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Legal Affairs department of Jazz is one of the most innovative, exciting and competent departments in the market. It strives on providing sound legal advice to the company and enhances the capacity of the company in achieving commercial milestones in the market. The department is divided into three core sub departments i.e. Litigation and Data Protection; Contracts, IP and Projects; and Corporate Governance.
A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who is upbeat, energetic and excellent in communication skills.
Communication will be ongoing in the office. As an executive assistant, you'll be screening incoming calls/e-mails, making notes of essential information and prioritizing the calls/e-mails to be returned by the CLO. Hence you should be smart in organizing tasks and managing time effectively so the work in the office runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
The three (03) main priorities of the role as a whole are:
·To liaise with, schedule and handle Legal Department’s meetings, official travel, appointments, correspondence, queries etc. within and outside Jazz.
·To effectively manage, routine administrative chores of all Legal Affairs department.
·To provide support/help to the entire Legal Affairs team by catering to its day-to-day administrative needs/requirements.
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team. What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
You will work with functional/regional teams, internal and external stakeholders including divisional/departmental heads, internal contracts team members, corporate governance team, commercial projects teams in Legal Affairs and all functions of the company for effective planning, development and roll out of company initiatives.
The two (02) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
·Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
·Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and external partners
Must have technology the candidate should have.
·Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Essential skills; must have:
·At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
·Language proficiency (English and Urdu)
·Expert level written and verbal communication skills
·Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
·Demonstrate the ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
